Harm woke up with a pounding headache. He was very confused as to where he was at. He grunted when something kicked him in the side. Looking to his right, he saw Serena sound asleep next to him.

Serena's eyes opened and she looked up at her Daddy, who was looking right back at her. She smiled. "Daddy! You're okay!" she cried, wrapping her arms around him.

"Yeah, Rena," Harm replied. He spotted Mac sound asleep on another bed. "Mommy's not sick too, is she?"

"No, Daddy. Uncle AJ said she had to sleep."

Harm nodded, wondering how long he'd been out of it.  "Harm?" Mac said, getting up from the bed.  She rushed over to him.  "Oh my God!" she cried.  She leaned over Serena and kissed him fully on the lips.

"Wow, I should be sick more often if I'm to get that kind of reaction!"

Mac shook her head and wiped away a few tears. "Harm, don't talk like that.  You weren't just sick, you were poisoned.  You almost died."

"What?"

"It's true, Daddy," Serena replied.  "Some bad man poissed you."

He looked at Serena then Mac.  "Who?"  Mac didn't answer. "Tell me, Mac!  Who did it?"

Mac took a deep breath... "Palmer."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Harm. I found out from Webb, and Palmer called me himself, bragging about you dying."  Mac held his hand tightly.  She could tell he was holding his anger in.  "Harm, apparently Annie Forrester sent him after you... us."

"Mommy, why do bad people always want to hurt us?" Serena asked.  "Did we do something bad?"

Harm looked at Mac.  Neither of them knew how exactly to answer that one.  "Rena," Mac said, "We didn't do anything bad.  Some people just get upset with themselves, with the way things turn out for them and they take it out on other people.  A lot of times we don't know why, but we have each other to get us through it all."

"We do!  We have Uncle AJ and Gramma and Grampa!" Serena replied excitedly.

"That's right, we do," Harm said.

Serena held out her arms for Mac to pick her up.  "I have to get Evie!"

"All right." Mac laughed as Serena ran out the door.  She turned back to Harm.  "How are you feeling, Sailor?"

"Much better," he said, placing his hand on her stomach.  "How are you?"

"God, Harm... I almost lost you twice in one month!"

"Come here."

"What?"

He patted the bed.  "Come here."

"Harm..."

"Come on, Sarah. Humor me."  Mac nodded and laid next to him.  "I know I can't promise you anything, especially with people like Palmer and Annie after us... We both know they'll try something again.  But, I'm gong to do everything in my power to make sure we stay together as long as possible."

"I know, Harm, and I'll do the same."

Just then, the door burst open.  "Daddy!" Evelyn exclaimed.  She climbed onto the chair and stopped a minute.  "You two aren't trying to get stuck together again, are you?" she asked warily.

"No, Evie," Harm replied with a laugh.  Evelyn smiled and climbed between them. "Where's Serena?"

"With Uncle AJ.  They'll be coming soon."

"What's he doing here?" Harm asked.

"Long story, Daddy," Evelyn said. "We don't need to get into it."

Mac shook her head.  "She's as stubborn as the both of us, Harm. Get used to it."

"I know I'll hear about it later," he said with a yawn.

Mac got up.  "Evie, Daddy needs to rest a little more."

"Can I stay with him?" she asked.  Mac looked at Harm, who nodded.  "Thanks, Mommy!"

Mac kissed them both and went to the door.  She paused and turned to look at them again.  They were all going to be just fine.
