"But, Dad, I don't wanna go!" Serena whined.

He sighed and gave her a hug.  "Please, Rena," he said.  "I need you to
go with Frank to help him take care of your sisters and brother."

"Why do I have to go and Evie gets to stay?"

"We've been through this!  Evie will be safe at the academy dorms.  I
can't chance leaving all of you and Frank at the house."

Frank walked over to them.  "Rena, it's time to go.  This is for the
best.  Your Dad will have Maddie and your Mom back in no time."

"Fine," she replied in a huff.

Harm gave her another hug.  "I'm sorry that you guys have to be put
through all this."

"It's not your fault, Dad."

The twins and Nicholas rushed over to him.  "We'll miss you, Dad,"
Nicholas said.

"We'll be together soon, I promise."

Harm watched as they gathered their things and headed over to the door.
His heart ached when he saw their grief stricken expressions.  If it
was Hodge who took his wife and little girl he was not going to get away
with it!

"Harm, I'm afraid it's confirmed," Webb's voice broke into his
thoughts.  "It was Hodge."

Evelyn watched as a range of emotions flitted across her father's face.
Fear, worry, anger, and finally, rage.  "Dad, what exactly is up with
this guy?" she asked.

Harm sighed and began to tell her what they were looking into on the
Watertown.  "Your mother and I were disagreeing on anything and
everything...," he began.

By the time he was finished, Evelyn's eyes were wide.  "He almost
killed the both of you!  Do you think he'll try to again?"

"I have a feeling he will," Harm said.

"But first, he's going to try to heal Maddie and Mac," Webb added.
"I've been looking into this guy.  He's been around and about the DC
area attacking people then saving them since he escaped from Levenworth
a week ago."

Harm's eyes snapped up at that.  "A week ago?  Clay, why didn't I know
about this?  No one told me, Evie had to overhear two stars talking about
him."

"Harm, I don't know why no one told you," Webb replied.  "It has
nothing to do with me."

He sighed.  "I know, Clay, I know."

"Captain," Jenkins voice came through the comm system.  "You have a
call.  Someone named David Hodge."

"Put it through," he answered, looking at Evelyn.  "Rabb."

"Congratulations on your promotion, *Captain*."

"Hodge, what do you want?" he growled.

"Is that anyway to treat the man who holds life of Maddie and Sarah in
his hands?" Hodge replied haughtilly.  "I assume you'd like to know what
condition they're in."

Harm held his anger in check.   "That would be nice."

"Maddie has a bad case of the flu.   She's been coughing like crazy. It
probably has something to do with the asthma."

"She has medicine for that."

Hodge laughed.  "You don't need to tell me what I already know,
Captain.  Now for dear, beautiful Sarah.  She has a serious concussion.
She's very disoriented.  I believe she mistook me for you and we got a
little closer."

"You fucking bastard!" Harm exclaimed.  "I swear, if you--"

"Whoa, there Captain!" Hodge interrupted.  "I haven't done anything
like that to your wife... yet.  Meet me in one hour at the old bus depot
in Norfolk.  You'll get one of these precious women back."

Before Harm could say anything more, Hodge hung up the phone.  He
picked it up and slammed it onto the floor.  Evelyn rushed over to him
when she saw tears falling down his cheeks.

"Dad, calm down!" she cried, wrapping her arms around him.
"Everything's going to be all right!  You'll save them both, you always
do!"
