Spoilers: "Silent Service"

"Captain." Harm looked up to see Petty Officer Jenkins standing in his doorway. "Your daughter is here to see you."

He nodded. "Send her in, Petty Officer."

"Aye, Sir."

A few minutes later, Evelyn entered and stood at attention. "At ease," Harm said, getting up to shut the door. "Come here and give your old man a hug."

Evelyn smiled and did so. "How are you holding up?" she asked.

"Much better," he replied. "You?"

"I'm all right."

He lead her to a chair and sat down across from her. "To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit? Shouldn't you be studying for a big exam?"

"Dad, I already took it. Yesterday afternoon," Evelyn said with a laugh. "Are you really that old? I told you about it last night when I called."

Harm cleared his throat. "Forget I asked."

"Sure thing. I was looking through some of your old cases last night and I came across one that I was wondering about. Well, I overhead a few Admirals talking today. Do you remember a Chief Corpsman called Hodge?"

Harm nodded again. He remembered that as if it were yesterday. He and Mac had been having disagreements on everything during that time. The two were investigating an E. Coli outbreak on the USS Watertown.

The outbreak was staged by Chief Hodge, who tried to kill them by 'saving' them. He had never been so scared for Mac in his life. Standing over her, not able to hear her breathing...

"Dad!" Evelyn said, waving a hand in front of his face. Harm looked at her. "Are you okay? You spaced out for a minute there."

He smiled. "I'm fine, Evie. And yes, I do remember that."

Evelyn cleared her throat, wondering how she was going to tell him what she heard. She glanced up at him and he looked at her questioningly. "Chief Hodge escaped from Levenworth, Dad."

Harm just stared at her. He had a horrible feeling that he knew what Hodge was planning. He took a deep breath. "Evie, have you told your Mom this yet?"

"No, not yet. Your face lost it's color, Dad. Was he really that bad?"

"We didn't go into details about what he did to us, but yeah, Evie." He went around his desk and picked up the phone. "Jenkins, get my wife on the line, please."

"Aye, Sir!"

He sat heavily in his chair. "I'm going to send the kids and Frank back to California for now," he told Evelyn. "Frank hasn't sold the house yet, your Mom too, until Hodge is captured again."

"You really think Mom is going to go?" Evelyn asked, skeptically.

"I'll make her."
