"Commander Rabb, I suspect you enjoyed that little reunion."

Harm glared at her. "I say we cut to the chase." David moved over to Harm. The guy was slightly taller and muscular than him. "Look, I want to get this taken care of as fast as we can so tell Godzilla here to back off."

"Fine, Commander, what's going on with the appeal?"

"I don't know."

"Yes, you do!"

"No, I don't! I don't because I'm not working on it, Annie! Get it through your thick skull!"

Annie whispered something to David. She had noticed where Harm hit his head on the steering wheel. David grinned and stood over him. The Naval Officer glared at him. Before, he knew it, Harm was sprawled on the floor, his head, pounding.

"Go get Colonel MacKenzie!" she exclaimed.

"No!" Harm said, sitting up weakly.

A few minutes later, David dragged Mac in. She was struggling until she saw Harm on the floor, his head in his hands. Annie nodded and Mac was able to kneel next to him. "Harm?"

"Hey," he replied, looking up at his wife. "Mac, there's two of you."

Mac turned to face Annie. "What are you doing this for? We don't know anything!"

"Well, I'll be able to use you both as bait. Imagine what the Admiral will say when I tell him that I have two of his officers being held."

"He'll be pissed, but there's not much he can do," Harm told her. "It's not the Navy's policy to deal with that sort of thing."

Annie's face grew red. "I am not a terrorist, Commander Rabb!"

"I never said you were!" Annie was sick of this. It wasn't getting her anywhere. She pulled Mac away from Harm. "Let. Her. Go!"

"David..." He handed her a gun and she pointed it at Mac's head. "Now, Commander, you will answer my question or I'll splatter your wife's brains all over the floor."

Mac looked into Harm's eyes. She nodded slowly as a tear escaped. "I-I don't know anything," he whispered.

Before Annie could squeeze the trigger, there was a loud noise in the hallway. Mac used the opportunity to twist Annie's arm and grab for the gun. However, that made Annie squeeze the trigger. Relieved that she didn't get shot, Mac was able to knock her out with the butt of the weapon.

She turned to David, who was trying to sneak out of the room. "Hold it right there!" Mac exclaimed.

"Don't you think you should be worried about your husband?" David asked.

Mac turned to Harm, seeing him on the floor, clutching his chest. Letting David leave, Mac raced to Harm. His shirt was soaked with blood. "Harm?" she said shakily. "Harm, can you hear me?"

"Mac..."

"Yeah, Flyboy, it's me." Mac took her jacket off and placed pressure on the wound. "Can you hold this here? I have to find the girls."

"Yeah, I'm not going anywhere."

Luckily, Mac didn't have to get up because the girls ran into the room.

"Mommy! Daddy!"

They stopped in their tracks. Evelyn took a breath. "What happened to Daddy?"

"Evie, just keep Serena with you over there."

"Mac, take the girls and leave. I don't want to chance anything with Annie over there," Harm said. It felt as though someone was sitting on his chest. His eyelids were feeling heavy.

"Harm! Don't you dare leave us!" Mac cried.
